Well, the new CD is out, and we are getting A LOT of positive feedback! Woo hoo! We are super excited about it, and eager to share with more people, so if your church or event needs a Christian Rock group, be sure to contact us! If you haven't gotten your copy of the album yet, you can get it on iTunes as well as pick up a copy at a concert or you can also get one from Fred at Cartridge World in Decatur...he keeps a few at the front counter. We are still in the studio. Things are going kinda slow, but we are working! We picked out our album cover....not totally done yet, some tweaking to do still. www.day40.net/art.htm - check it out. Wow, how time has been flying! I didn't even get on here and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Sorry about that! Well, Day 40 is currently in the studio, getting started on the recording of our 3rd CD! We are in the beginning stages, and we are so pumped about this new music. Some of it we have been playing for a while now, so you know them, but we have a few surprises for you too....we are looking forward to rolling it out. We just got done with two great gigs. Led worship for a youth event at First Baptist Church in Decatur, Illinois. Some awesome youth there! And we actually got back from Illinois Weslyan (the Shirk Center) early this morning from a lock-in there....about 500 kids showed up, and made it a night to remember. Thank you for your spirit everyone! What a great night of worship, music and fun. God Bless you all. We hope to see you all again. Special thanks goes out to Bridget and Mary for taking pictures and video of this event. You are AWESOME!

Well, it's been a pretty busy summer with our personal lives, so we haven't been able to play as much out there as usual, but we have had a few really cool gigs lately, including the one in Hersher, Illinois - what a great turnout we had - thanks to everyone in Herscher who came out to spend some time with us! We have a few other shows coming up, but most of them out of town. The only thing scheduled in Decatur is on October 4th - check out the gigs page for more information. We are inching our way closer to being able to start recording our 3rd album. We are currently looking for a sponsor or two, to help fund the duplication of this album. They will get advertising in return for it. If you know of anyone who might be interested in helping us out, let Jim know. Thanks everyone, and God Bless!

Hey everyone. We are headed back to Nashville! We are going to do another showcase in front of some music labels and give it our best. So keep us in your prayers and wish us some good luck! We are heading down to Nashville the last weekend in July, and then going on down to South Carolina after that to play at TrueNorth Church in North Augusta. It will be a very fun trip, needless to say. We are looking forward to recording our next CD, hopefully starting on that late summer / early fall. Peace Out!

The Blood:Water Mission was a great success! Over $3,000 was raised to help dig wells for clean water in Africa. What a great blessing by God. It's a great feeling to know that we can make a difference in the world for people in need. God calls us to look out for our brothers and sisters, our neighbors - those who are in need. Jesus said "do unto others as you would do to me.....when you help the least of these, you help me." Thank you, God, for giving us this opportunity!

Living Sacrifice was AWESOME! Man, it just blows my mind away at the spirt that young people have today, and their love for God, and the fact they aren't afraid to show it. That is such a breath of fresh air! God Bless all the youth of the world, for they are a brilliant and unique light to the world.

Wow, this year is already going by fast! Day 40 has some good concerts coming up, including Living Sacrifice, a local area youth gathering that is this weekend! Check our Gigs page for more info. Adults are welcome to come too, so don't feel like you can't come if you're not a student.

Day 40 is planning on taking a little breather some this year, when it comes to concerts, so that we can have time to write some new material and focus on our sound. We will still be out there, just not as much. So come see us sometime - we'd love to have you!

The Season of Hope concert was a great success. Everyone we talked to seemed to really enjoy it. Thanks goes out to 3 for ONE and Main Street Youth Choir for making it a great night. We raise some good money for charity, and we had a great time in the process. God was glorified and we know He was smiling down on us that night. Fred and Jim went over to Springfield a couple weeks ago to enter the AmeriCorn Idol contest. There wasn't enough setup time to allow a full band to setup, so we just did one of our simple acoustic songs. And Hey....guess what? We won 1st Place! You can see a picture of Fred & Jim on the front page, standing beside Abraham Lincoln. He was very cool.

Hey everyone. Get your calendars out and save two dates, for two special concerts. November 15th and December 20th. We are really excited to play with Pearl Blind on Nov 15th at St. John's. Also, December 20th we will be at the Lincoln Square Theatre in Dowtown Decatur, IL. Tickets are $10, and will go to benefit two local charities. We really hope many people can make it to this. It's going to be a special concert with 3 for ONE and the choir from Main Street Church of the Living God. We hope to see you there!!

We just got back from Praise Fest in Altamont, IL. What a great crowd they had, and what great enthusiasm they had for praising God! We had a great time there. We didn't get to hear much of iPrayz, but from what we heard, they sounded awesome. Curtis Osborne gave a really great speech which all young people should be able to listen to. His testimony was from the heart and I know it touched everyone there. May God Bless you, Curtis, and may He bless the fine people of Altamont.

Hey guys....we are traveling to Louisville, Kentucky for a couple of gigs this weekend. It should be a great trip and we are looking forward to it! We are now in the process of creating a Caffeinated Faith DVD, complete with songs from our live concerts, behind the scenes footage and other special treats that you are sure to enjoy. Hey everyone! We've got several gigs coming up, so don't forget to check our gigs page and see what's going on. We just played at the Praise in the Park event in Monticello - what a nice event that Randy Hinshaw and the Monticello Christian Academy puts on. There were several other great bands that attended, including Pearl Blind. And what a beautiful day it was! Man....the beautiful days we have on earth...and to think that there are still people on this earth who don't realize it's the handiwork of God! Let us all give credit where credit is due - God, you are the greatest artist of them all, no doubt about it!

Summer is here! (I think). That's until we have snow again this weekend. Just kidding! You never know in Illinois though, do you? We just led youth worship at Life Foursquare Church in Decatur and it was a blast. We are also leading youth worship at St. John's Lutheran in Decatur this Sunday - June 8th....it will be outdoors, so hopefully it won't snow. hahahaha
